Melio AI is an applied AI consultancy. We don’t sell AI capability in the abstract. Instead, we design and deliver systems that operate inside real business workflows, from the first workshop to the day the system runs unattended in production.

Our Story, Briefly

We started in data science and machine learning, at the point where most companies were discovering that having a model isn't the same as having value. Years of enterprise delivery taught us the same lesson on repeat: the hard part was never building a model, it was getting a working system into a business that would actually use it, trust it, and keep it running.

Highwind grew out of that pattern-recognition. Rather than starting every client from zero, we packaged the capabilities we kept rebuilding into ready-to-use services, so smaller teams could get enterprise-grade AI without an enterprise-grade project.

Melio and Highwind now work together. Melio builds and learns through complex enterprise delivery, Highwind turns those lessons into reusable services, and Melio draws on Highwind to move faster where it fits. One team, serving both ends of the market without diluting either.

Vision

Empower people to accomplish more with AI they can understand, trust, and run.

Think of it like a car built to be driven. You don't need to understand the engine, but you should know how it behaves, when it needs attention, and how to keep it running well. Sometimes we design the engine. Sometimes we maintain or upgrade one someone else built. Either way, the goal is the same: a team that can run its own AI systems with confidence, not one that's permanently dependent on us.
